Salary: $84,607.00 - $98,590.00
The Planning Manager position supports the Maryland Department of Aging’s development and implementation of the Longevity Ready Maryland (LRM) multisector plan on aging through policy analysis, stakeholder engagement and management, data analysis and reporting, and other functions. The LRM is Maryland’s 10-year multisector plan on aging and MDOA’s State Plan on Aging under the Older Americans Act. The plan guides policy, programming, and resource allocation to support older adults and healthy aging across the lifespan.
The Planning Manager will work collaboratively with team members across the Department, as well as external partners, to ensure continued progress towards the implementation, evaluation, and update of LRM. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six years of administrative or professional experience. Preferred qualifications include two or more years of community organizing experience focused on engaging diverse populations and driving systemic change, two or more years of research and data analysis experience, ideally related to aging services, and a working knowledge of the Older Americans Act.
